It wasn’t until evening that Harry realised they’d missed May Day. “There was even a Ministry reception,” he lamented, preparing for bed. He frowned. “Actually, I’m surprised Hermione didn’t owl us a reminder. You know how she is.”
“Indeed.” At Severus’ tone, Harry’s eyes narrowed.
“What did you do?” he asked, immediately suspicious.
Severus, in bed, smirked. “I may have...intercepted a letter. But did you really wish to attend?”
Harry sighed ruefully. “It’s tradition. We missed the maypole.”
Drawing back the covers, Severus gestured to his erection. “Perhaps if we...improvise?”
Slowly, Harry grinned. “I love how you think.”
