I had to go back to re-read those two chapters that had shown Eileen and Severus, since that obviously had slipped from my mind. The description of the past with Tobias is just hinted at, but that's enough to now that that is truly in the past and even suggests (in my mind at least) that things have changed since then.

What is also clear is that although their relationship is not that close, Severus and his mother love and respect each other very much. So, there is much to look forward to. :D
