Being Responsible

They cuddled, weak sunlight filtering through the windows. Draco ignored his pessimistic thoughts, basking instead in Harry’s presence. He was quite tactile, a trait Draco was beginning to appreciate.
There was a distant buzzing, and Harry froze mid-caress. “Damn,” he muttered, sitting up.
“What’s that?”
“The hospital.” Harry Summoned a dressing gown. “I’ll be right back.”
Draco nodded, straining to hear the conversation when Harry opened the Floo.
“...short-staffed...responsible...sorry for inconvenience--”
When Harry returned, he looked regretful. “They need me to--”
“I heard,” said Draco.
“Sorry.” Harry smiled. “But I bought us an hour. So...shower with me?”
