No, no, don't let the pairings scare you. This is HOT LIKE BURNING, and although poor Pansy is a bit out-Slytherined here, she clearly doesn't mind (nor should she). The characterizations are perfect, including the cameos by Draco and Harry (who is obviously a bit confuzzled by all the Slytherin goings-on, poor lad). Really brilliant bit of writing.
