HP_Beholder Reveals
May. 26th, 2013 04:31 pm...are up and there were some surprises, although of course there were other stories I knew had to be from fandom heavy-hitters. :)
If interested, you can see my recs from the fest Here, Here, Here, and Here.
My gift came from
nothorse, who wrote me a lovely, imaginative story featuring Dudley and Millicent called Do Pass Go.
And I can now claim the story I wrote for
katelinmr (did you guess it was me, sweetie?) called Flint: Staff Reporter. I'm told by reliable sources that they spotted it by the header and they didn't even have to rely on the unsubtle Snarry that I slipped in. So much for trying to stay incognito. ;)
I'll be reposting once I reply to my comments at the fest community.
This fest is always one that I try my best to participate in, just because the quality is always so stellar (maybe I'm hoping some of that excellent skill will rub off on me?), and this year was no exception. I love the way that each year has a different energy. This year, to me, it felt as if formerly unredeemable characters were getting redeemed, and if not completely, their actions were at least being reasonably explained. For the first time, e.g., I sympathized with Antonin Dolohov (shakes head).
Anyway, for more discussions about the characters people chose to write about this year do check out
beholder_plus if you're interested.
In sum: Congratulations to
atdelphi for the fabulous fest and to all the participants this year. You all rock!
