Yay, Fandom!

So I haven't talked about the fandom meetups I've had while I was here in Seattle!

First, I got to see cruisedirector (and meet her H and son) on Saturday! I went over to her son's apartment, and we ordered in Thai, and Cruise and I chatted about HP, fandom, the election, racism, homophobia...you know, all the light topics. ;)
It was fabulous to see her!

Also, I had a lovely meeting with gracerene, dysonrules and fireflavored last night.
We met up in the bar at the Cheesecake Factory, where we had drinks, apps, and, of course, cheesecake! We all chatted about H/D (and I got a bit more inspiration for my Erised fic *g*), and fandom in general, as well as life and some unfinished fic that Dyson promises she is going to post for us all. And cum, we discussed that, too. *shudders* Heh.
Anyway, it was a hoot, and it was lovely to relax after a day of sitting in classes and listening to medical lectures. ;)
Then, they all walked me back to my hotel! *glomps them all*
