Day 8
In your own space, post self-recs for at least three fanworks that you created. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

This was a tough post to compile (it was hard choosing!), but at least it spurred me on to compile my yearly wrap up list (which should be up tomorrow).

  • How to Give Socks and Influence Elves (and Pretty Professors) (LJ/IJ/DW) [Fic (8680), PG, Severus/Hermione]

Written for last year's [livejournal.com profile] hoggywartyxmas, this one was a great deal of fun to write. Negotiating a relationship between Severus and Hermione is always enjoyable (banter! flirting!), and adding in house-elf politics and meddling colleagues made it extra smile-inducing, at least for me. :)

  • Job Negotiation (LJ/IJ/DW/AO3) [Fic (2570), NC-17, Dolores/Nagini]

Back when I was still writing regularly for Daily_Deviant (something I hope to get back to soon), I liked to challenge myself by at least attempting the alternate pairing. This was one of my more successful tries, I think. IMO, I managed a plausible explanation for the pairing, and even though Dolores is not my fave character, getting into her head was certainly an ~interesting experience.

  • Fits Like a Glove (LJ/IJ/DW/AO3) [Fic 2050, NC-17, Neville/Percy]

Another Daily Deviant submission, this was prolly the kinkiest thing I wrote all year. Dom!Neville and Percy, with UST you can cut with a knife. Yeah, I enjoyed coming up with this one. *g*

And, because I can't resist one more:
  • The Cure for Weasleys in the Manor (LJ/IJ/DW) [Fic (1100), R, Severus/Lucius]

I wrote this for May Madness and it made me chuckle with unholy glee as I was writing it. Slytherins, man. You have to love us. ;)
