I think Severus has met his match in Azizi and I wonder what's she's plotting as regards Percy. I also wondered if she can actually teleport, and then began to wonder if that's the correct word in the Harry Potter world. I looked up the definition of apparition, and thought about it more and realized that if she can apparate, there's no associated crack. So maybe apparition is not the correct term where Azizi is concerned.
Do you have any cats of your own? We have two, but neither of ours have this skill.
On the other hand, I can still remember the story told by our friend Barry, who is a legitimate scientist shortly after he got married and his wife brought a kitten into their home. He had opened their front door, with their cat in the hallway behind him, to grab the morning paper or the mail. When he had it in hand and was shutting the door, he realized their cat was now outside, apparently without bothering to squeeze by him. His remark, told with both pride and surprise? "Cats can teleport!"
Azizi, meanwhile, is an amazing magical creature so I wouldn't be surprised if she has special skills foreign to the avarage kneazle. I also wonder if in Severus' nursing her to full health and his dosing her with potions, he accidentally unleashed here-to-fore unknown latent magic already present in the species. And if there is a market for that or if overly magical creatures would be dangerous to wizardkind. Do you know who Leslie Fish is? She's a filker (and essayist who holds many political views which are pretty much dead wrong in my opinion), but she tells wonderful stories about her cats, particularly the ones she bred for intelligence. She thinks she has them up to the level of a six-year-old human child now, but unfortunately this does not make them better companions as they do things like open laptop computers and mess around with the keys to the point where the operating system gets corrupted, or get into the cabinet where she stores cleaning products and trigger the spray mechanisms....
