Hm, well Ron has the emotional range of a teaspoon and he needs a wife who wants to have kids and care for them, Hermione doesn't want that. They obviously clashed badly before, and Ron resorts to druggin his wife to get his way. I don't get why authors insist on keeping these characters together. Sometime realizing that you are better of as friends can be deliberating.
