Thanks to the lovely
lightbird, I have been inspired to join a new community,
thefridayfive.
As indicated by the name, they post a set of 5 questions every Friday.
How the comm works:
There will be a set of five questions posted each Friday by one of the moderators on both LiveJournal and Dreamwidth. Please copy and paste them to your own journal, answer them there, and then post a comment to that week's Friday Five with a link to your journal entry. If your journal is "friends only," feel free to post your answers as a comment in that week's Friday Five.
1. After your first language, what language would you most like to learn?
English is my first language, I'd love to learn Mandarin. Mainly because I really want to go to China andeat soup dumplings explore. :)
2. Does your country have a second language? What is it?
So, as I'm an American now, technically no? I am originally Jamaican, however, and our 'second language' is a patios combining English and our own ~slang that would prolly not be recognizable as English. Not sure if that counts. *shrugs*
3. How many languages can you count to 5 in? To 10 in? List them.
English (duh), French, Spanish, German. To 10 I can do the first 3 languages.
4. What is the first overseas country you visited? And from where?
Jamaica to Austria as a kid.
5. What country do you most want to visit? And why?
China. Soup dumplings!
