I'm almost caught up with the first week of the Snarry Cliche fest, so I decided to share what I've especially enjoyed so far. I'm a bit behind, but I hope to catch up. Eventually. :)
Fics:
Lacrimosa in the Tesco Coffee Aisle by Anon.
NC-17, 25,500 words.
Epilogue compliant up to a point, I adore the relationship Harry has with his children here, especially Abus Severus. There is infidelity, yes, but this is very much a human story, everyone has their faults, no one is perfect, and yet it all works out, like life sometimes does. Beautifully and authentically written, I really enjoyed it. And Dimple may be the best house-elf ever!
The Interrupted Kiss: A Fairy Tale by Anon.
NC-17, 24,795 words.
This is a fun combination of fairy tales, remixed in a fresh way that was a delight to read. And I am such a sucker for wandmaker!Harry stories. ;)
Arts:
Cat Got Your Tongue by *cough* Anon.
PG-13.
Gorgeous artwork with some fabulous little details (I especially adored the expression in Harry's eyes in the second panel) and hilarious dialogue. Fabulous work from this artist, as always.
Formal Declaration by Anon. Heh.
G.
Another bit of comic genius art by this artist. Severus' smirk, Harry's long-suffering expression... It all combines to form one hilarious whole. :)
That's it for now.
As always, if you see something you enjoy, do leave an appreciative comment for the creator. You'll make someone's day!
