Leaky Con Day 2

alisanneMay I just say? The weather in Chicago is lovely. Sixty nine degrees and windy (surprise!). A huge improvement on 110, let me tell you. :P
So what did we do today?
- Got up and had breakfast. Mmmm, did you know they make this thing called a Nutella waffle? Dudes...best waffle EVER. Yum!
- Wallaby Way Writing Workshop, in which we learned how to give proper feedback. LOL.
- HP Fanfiction workshop, for which no moderator showed up, so, when some of the louder people in the room began taking over, we left, and I persuaded Lily to go with me to listen to...
- Mark Reads Harry Potter! OMG, he was awesome. Hilarious and fun and very engaging.
- Went and had Chicago deep dish pizza for a late lunch. Yummers.
- Returned in time for the Minorities in Harry Potter panel, which featured a very spirited discussion for which, incidentally, Mark was also present. By the end of that I decided we needed him at Lubricus, so I told him all about it. He seemed chuffed, so hopefully he'll be able to make it. *g*
- Back to the vendor room, this time for the craft fair, where I purchased some DH earrings, some very adorable Harry and Snape mini-portraits, and House buttons. :)
- We returned to our FABULOUS room and had room service while Lily caught up on writing and I caught up on my Flist. *g*

Also, thank you to everyone who posted/sent me birthday greetings, emails, PMs, Vgifts and fics. I shall be posting a huge thank you post in a day or so, but in the meantime I just want you all to know that you're awesome and I adore you! ♥
