Armed and Dangerous

Emerging from his Floo, Kinsgley looked around his flat, expecting his lover. Evidently he was detained.

After a quick meal, he read reports. The exciting life of a former Minister, he thought, amused.

Retiring to bed, he’d just drifted off to sleep when he heard a floorboard creak. He waited. “Expelliarmus!” he cried, sitting up.

There was a curse. When Kingsley lit the candles, Charlie, wandless, was blinking at him. “So much for surprising you.”

Kingsley relaxed. “Want your wand back?”

Charlie smirked. “I’d planned on giving you my other wand, actually.”

Kingsley laughed, scooting over in bed. “Please do.”
