“You certainly landed on your feet,” murmured Lucius after the ceremony. “Found your happily ever after, then?”
Severus raised an eyebrow. “That’s rather like the pot calling the kettle black. You’ve made landing on your feet into an art.”
Lucius smiled. “But it’s expected of me.” He pursed his lips. “I didn’t think you had it in you. Clearly you can be inspired.”
“Indeed.”
“Severus?” Harry approached, looking back and forth between them. “Ready?”
“Definitely.” Smirking at Lucius, Severus offered his arm to Harry. “Good evening, Lucius.”
“And to you.”
Drawing Harry close, Severus smiled. “You can count on that.”
