“You’re staring again,” Harry murmured, not looking up from his book.

Severus coughed. “If it bothers you--”

“Stop.” Harry’s tone was low, firm. Leaning over in bed, he kissed Severus. “I love that you look at me like that. It makes me feel special. Wanted.”

Severus coughed. “I trust you know those things are true.”

“Yes.” Harry grinned. “And it’s not as though you’re the only one who’s obsessed. Ron’s still going on about my Half-Blood Prince thing sixth year.”

“Indeed.” Plucking the book from Harry’s hands, Severus set it aside. “Shall I show you how special you are?”

“Please.”
