So 2014 has already started out kinda rough.
This is therefore a post of 3 happy-making things and one plea. (In bullet point form because work is being very...work-y).

♥ Eee, for Lokifan's love meme!
Traditionally I don't do those (mainly to avoid hurt feelings) but I will admit to going to secretly look since it such is an ego boost. :)

♥ I got a St Patrick's Day and a Wizard's Hat VGift from my darling lilyeyes and they made me smile. She is so good to me! *loves* Thank you, bb!

♥ Today is National hugs day! Thank you knowmefirst for the head's up! *hugs everyone*

♥ Two people on my Flist (accioslash and soberloki) have recently had life changing medical events occur. Happily, accioslash is recovering (see here for updates) but given soberloki's death, I'd like to implore people to have some sort of notification plan in place. Not that any of us ever think anything will ever happen to us, but...Well, I'd want to know if anything happened to any of you. Just...please think about it?

A little late, but here's a *hug* for you. I should remember to tell my mum some time that her birthday falls on the National Hugs Day in the US :)

I'm catching up today and had not heard about soberloki till now. I didn't know them, but it's one of those names, you know? The ones you see all the time and kind of know through your friends. I'm sorry to hear what happened. It's good to read that accioslash is recovering. I've been thinking of her - another of those people, but I think one I know a little better.
You are right about the planning, of course. It's one of those things I sometimes think about but never find a good solution for.

Soberloki's death was def a shock, esp since i didn't even know they were sick, you know? *sighs*
And yes , Accio does seem to be doing well, thank goodness. They're going to transfer her to rehab tomorrow, so that's awesome.

Maybe pick a close online friend (blnchflr?) and give them your info just in case something happens? ♥

Yeah, that's been my general idea too - but then I need to remember to update my friend when I change passwords etc. and I'm not sure I trust my memory with that ;) But it's the best I've come up with too.
