“Ready?” Severus murmured.
Harry nodded, linking their fingers as they walked. “Did you ever think this day would come?” he whispered.
Softly, Severus snorted. “Certainly not. This is...unprecedented.”
Harry grinned. “I never thought we’d stop exchanging insults long enough to--” He blushed.
“To exchange bodily fluids?” Severus purred.
“Severus!” Harry hissed, scanning to see if anyone had overheard.
Severus hummed. “It’s the truth.”
“Point.” Harry sighed. “And now we’re about to--”
“Exchange vows and rings,” interrupted the officiant, smiling at them. “If you’re through with your conversation?”
Harry coughed. “Yes.”
“Indeed.”
The officiant smiled. “Excellent. We are gathered here--”
