As Hermione opened her mouth, Draco cleared his throat. “May I say something first?”
Hermione looked nervous. “Of course.”
“I don’t blame you for being suspicious, Granger,” Draco said. “But my intentions toward Harry are honourable.”
Harry coughed. “Not too honourable, I hope,” he murmured.
Hermione rolled her eyes. “Thank you, Draco.” She stepped forward, hand extended. “Please accept my apologies for how I acted before.”
To Harry’s relief, Draco shook Hermione’s hand without reluctance. “Accepted.”
Harry exhaled. “Thank Merlin. Now, I’ve one more request, Hermione.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Yes?”
“Could you leave now so I can kiss Draco?”
