Weekly Random Post of Random
Mar. 20th, 2016 05:57 am- So I wasn't going to link anything too overtly political, but I suspect I'm safe (given my Flist) linking this series of cartoons from around the world with their impressions of the Republican front runner. *sigh*
- Gotta admit, I didn't look at all of these, and if some are wrong don't hold me responsible, but a few of these random facts were pretty awesome. Although some were quite odd, too. :P
- This was a fun one. Korean girls try American BBQ. I have to agree with them on the ribs. Good ribs are 100/10. ;)
- How about this instance of being in the right place at the right time? Congrats, Rhett Wheeler. Apparently everyone's heard of him now? So cool.
- And, speaking of singing, how about this guy? I did NOT expect that voice to come out of his mouth. *shakes head*
- Ever wondered how to weigh a baby koala? Here's a cute instructional video with directions. *g*
- I'm not sure if I linked this before, but because it makes me laugh, here they are again: Extremely Abridged Classics.
- Just when I think shark movies can't get any more ridiculous, I see this. *laughs ass off*
- In honor of St Patrick's Day, have a video of the Chicago river being dyed green. Is it bad that I my first thought was that the boats look like sperm? *g*
- And finally, watch this video of Jamaicans eating Scotch Bonnet peppers at you own risk since it's a bit disgusting, but hits close to home since I'm Jamaican. Hot peppers are hot! BTW, my mother used to pick Scotch Bonnets off the bush and eat them with no problem. :P
Have a fabulous rest of your weekend!

Date: 2016-03-20 03:35 pm (UTC)going thru the misc facts, a few gave me pause. Why do overweight people 'see distance as further'? do they mean have better eyesight, or feel farther away from overything? hmmmm
Learned a new word!! "Libration" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libration
