Because it's hot: Kingsley/anyone, Charlie/anyone. Rrrrow.

Because it's plausible: Severus/Remus, Severus/Regulus

Because it's implausible: Draco/Ginny, Draco/Charlie

Because they're alike: Remus/Sirius/James in any permutation. Although Marauders Era is not my thing.

Because they're opposites: Harry/Severus (OTP FTW)

Because I like it in canon: Arthur/Molly, Lucius/Narcissa

Because of fanwork: Tonks/anyone but Remus, LOL. ragdoll has convinced me that Tonks is pretty awesome. <3

Because it hurts so good: I'm not really into hurty fic, but Pottercest has that potential, as does Harry/Draco and Harry/Severus. Any pairing has that potential I suppose. *shrugs*
