Snowflake Challenge Day 1, 2017

I wasn't sure I was gong to do this, but then I figured, why not? So, here we go again.





Day 1

In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I shall rec some of my fave fanworks from 2016.


1. Master of Death. I wrote this for the 2016 Snarry-A-Thon, and I really like how it turned out, not the least because the always fabulous mywitch agreed to create art for it. Plus, it was fun to write. :)

2. Patrolling His Turf was my first foray into writing for hp_kinkfest and it was fun. The thing practically wrote itself (love when that happens) and their voices were SO CLEAR in my head. Also, it as a fun fest experience (modly love), so I'll prolly be back this year for more. <3

3. Of Fruitful Endeavours (LJ/IJ/DW/AO3) was for intoabar, which is always a hoot. This one was a crossover between Draco Malfoy and Ichabod Crane from Sleep Hollow (TV) and I think (hope) I got their voices right.

4. And finally, another Snarry (because, well, OTP), I was thrilled with how Snapes and Sales and Potion Garden Tales turned out. This was also for Snarry-A-Thon, and had simply brilliant art from shadowycat. This one was an exercise in patience. I wanted to just slap them together and say , "Here, kiss!" but this made me take my time, go for the slow burn, and I think (hope) it paid off.
