In your own space, write a love letter to Fandom in general, to a particular fandom, to a trope, a relationship, a character, or to your flist/circle/followers. I can't believe it's over already! Those 15 days go fast.

I wrote a love letter to Harry Potter fandom a couple of years ago here (LJ/IJ/DW), so I'm not going to repeat that.

Instead, this year, I think I'll write to my FList/Circle. :)

Hello, lovelies!

First, thank you for all your loving support over the years. I've shared so much with you, including my joy and tears, and you have always been there for me.

My dearest wish is that we all continue to support each other, especially as I suspect we have some difficult years ahead.

What do I mean by support? Well, I ask that we all be gentle with each other, that we not denigrate each other's OTP's, likes, kinks, or dislikes, that we try to spread happiness and not anger.

I'm a part of that, too, of course. I pledge do my best to comment positively on things I enjoy, to avoid things I don't like, and not to get upset when someone who I know hates my favorite pairing(s) posts negatively about it/them. I will also take a deep breath, allow them the benefit of the doubt, and move on. And even if someone makes it clear they hate what I love, I'll do my best to look past that and see the person and not their comments. I'd like to see us all do that. Fandom life would be so peaceful and enjoyable if we could!

I want us all to have a creative, enjoyable, and fabulous year in which we flourish and our creativity thrives!
