How are you at Dream Interpretation?

alisanneSo I have been having the weirdest dreams lately.
Often I don't remember the details, but this morning I did, and since I wrote it all out while in chat withtorino10154 to see what she though (she thinks it's the drugs LOL) I figured I'd share here.
Me: Also, I have been having very weird dreams
torino10154: oh?
Me: LOL Okay, so I was at a...live performance place where the actors or whatever performed sex in front of people? And the whole thing was preceded by a lecture by a dominatrix and the audience was encouraged to 'cuddle up" together
torino10154: lolololololol
Me: So people kept wanting to sit close and stuff, which was fine, but then I ended up cuddling with some guy who looked like that guy from Lost? or maybe like the one who played Aragorn? Only without the beard?
torino10154: Omg lol
Me: and then the people who were supposed to perform for us chickened out, and so they apologized and the dominatrix said 'here, watch these movies instead', and the movies were like cuts from assorted movies with shots of butts and crotches. Lots of Batman! And then I got hungry and went looking for food.
torino10154: been drinking before bed? or reading porn?
Me: and when I got back someone else was cuddled up to the Lost guy.
LOL nope. Dude, I have weird detailed dreams EVERY NIGHT!
Anyway, I decided to leave and we had to take a train, but the tickets for the train were gummi candy but with the train logo on them.

Me: and we split the cost of the ticket because it cost like 150$ one way, but you could get 2 for 99

Me: So we split the tickets, and then I had a bunch of gummi candy in my purse, so I had to rummage for the candy tickets when we got off, and then we were on a tour of like the countryside, where like old factories had been transformed into art pieces with classical and modern statues on them and then we were on a space ship.
torino10154: Good lord you weren’t joking!
Me: and we had to sing for this really intense director.
DUDE I am telling you. EVERY NIGHT! I think it must be one of my meds, but they're not bad dreams just weird... *shrugs*

Me: Anyway, no one could hit the high note, so I did and people were like tell him you did it!
torino10154: LOL
Me: And I was like 'nuh uh he's scary', so he got mad no one could hit the note, so he chucked us off the…spaceship?
Oh but there was food, so then I was trying to count the blueberries (because carbs).

Me: But they got mixed up with the meat (no carbs) and then C (DH) was like OMG go take pictures of the planes.
Me: So I left to take pictures of the F-whatevers they were flying outside, and when I came back he had spilled all the blueberries looking for the meat. Only when I looked through the blueberries there WAS no meat.
And then I woke up.

And now I feel like I should post that LOLOLOL

Me HAHAHAHAH, it’s prolly the duloxetine. I take it for neuropathy but it's also used for depression, and I also take meloxicam for joint pain so maybe the combination? And honestly I take everything at night because that's when I remember so who knows?

Me: But I am pretty amused (and puzzled) when I wake up from those dreams, so w/e

Date: 2017-10-22 12:04 am (UTC)LOVE IT! I DREAM LIKE THIS.(oops caps sorry) Ive taken to recording them on the voice recorder app on my phone. They are always journeys, travel, lots of changing architecture and characters from life and media mashed together, and strange romance where I think "this is weird!" but then decide "oh, well, why not?"
This has been happening since before I took so many maintenance drugs, so that doesn't seem to explain it. I used to study 'dreamwork' - and was determined to remember dreams and try to become conscious in the dream. Never got THAT far, but it's always a blast.
I rarely have nightmares, but pharmaceuticals may be responsible for an up tic in those dreams.
just got meloxicam and I'm a fan (for now - sure sounded like scary side effects!)

Ooh, recording them would be interesting, although what would I do with them, you know?
I wish I could go up on the meloxicam. I still ache, although it's definitely better with it. :)
