All about the senses (I did this earlier and my computer ate my post, argh!)
1. Is there a smell that will immediately sicken you?
Feces. And what I call 'the death smell'. Not sure what it is exactly, but there's a smell that dying patients have that is unmistakable and unpleasant. :(
2. When you want quiet, where do you go?
Home! We turned our front room into a library and it's lovely to just sit in there amongst the books and be still. Also, people have a tendency to speak more softly while in there, so that's nice, too. :)
3. Do you need/prefer total darkness when you sleep?
Oh yes. Any chink of light makes me hunt down its source and eliminate it.
4. What is your least favorite taste?
Licorice. Ugh. Also, I'm not fond of certain textures. Sea urchin for example, which reminds me of thick snot. *shudders* Also, if you're ever offered scrapple, learn from my mistake and say no. :((
5. How heavily do you rely upon your sense of touch?
I touch people every day as part of my medical job, so I rely on it a lot. :) Also, I find a handshake goes along way to relaxing people when I meet them the first time.
