Welcome to the vacation edition!



1. Where did you go, and what did you do, on your last vacation trip?

I went to Baltimore, Maryland for a Harry Potter convention called Potterverse. It was fun hanging out with other Potterheads. :)

2. How often do you take trips for pleasure?

Usually twice a year. Unfortunately I have to think carefully about where to go these days since my mobility is not what it used to be. :(

3. How much vacation time do you take each year?

I am really fortunate, I get 6 weeks through work, excluding holidays! And I try to take every drop of it. :)

4. Are you satisfied/happy with the amount of time off you can take?

Oh yes. I can't complain. It's sad that Americans typically get so little vacation time.

5. What would be your ideal or dream vacation if money and time were no object?

Oh my! Well, I honestly would love to go everywhere at least once. If you want me to pick places I've already been then...I adore Rome, so I'd spend a few weeks there, then Barcelona, which I also enjoyed. And Prague for sure, it's such a gorgeous city. I've never been to Australia, so I totally want to visit there, and I've been eyeing Bali and Fiji as places to see as well. And of course China, so I can have soup dumplings. *g*

Have you never left the US?
I adore traveling, so yes, I highly recommend it. :)
