Friday five this week is all about my sartorial style (such as it is):



1. Describe your favorite outfit.

Hm. I don't think I have a favorite outfit, honestly. Anything that's comfortable I guess? Whenever I can get away with wearing something that feels like PJs out in public, I'm pleased. :)

2. Describe your personal style.

Comfortable, I'd say. Oh, and since I'm always hot, nothing with high collars or long sleeves. I used to love scarves, but alas, they're too hot for me these days.

3. Approximately how much do you spend on fashion/personal care annually?

I have no idea. While I'm not much of a fashion horse, I do use a fair bit of product in my hair now that it's natural. So...best guess, prolly $500? That's my best guess.

4. Do you dress for yourself or for everyone else?

Definitely for myself. Since I'm wearing it, I have the last word. :)

5. Give us your best fashion/personal care advice.

Be comfortable with yourself and your choices. And if you're black and have natural hair, moisturize, baby! Moisturize. :)

We should all be able to walk around in PJs when we want to. :D

I'm with you on nothing too hot. I've always found high collars constricting. Long sleeves are okay, but I prefer sleeveless (and now that I'm working out I can show my arms with pride, heh).

Alas, I am not working out and so my arms are chubby, but i don't care. Being cool trumps hiding my arms. *g*
And I used to LOVE wearing turtlenecks. Now I can't imagine wearing one.

Hee! The better half has a dress that's just fancy enough for anything social but also soft enough (and wrinkle-free enough) to wear while napping. She wants to wear it all day, every day. M.

How clever she is!
I once had a dress like that. In fact, it wasn't a dress at all, it was a nightgown, but it looked enough like a dress I could get away with wearing it out in public and it could even pass for dressy. ;)
