Sorry I'm late, I only just saw this. :P
Tuesday Friday thoughts about food.
1. What is your favourite food?
Dim sum. Although really I should say all Asian because YUM!
2. What is your favourite food preparation method?
Baked I guess? Define favorite. If it's ME preparing the food, then yes, baked. If someone else is doing it, then it's whatever they need to do to make me dim sum. *g*
3. What is your favourite cuisine or style of cooking?
Chinese!
4. Do you have any dietary restrictions and if so what are they?
This is a recent development, but I find my joints work better when I avoid sugar, so I've been limiting sugar and my arthritis is almost gone. :) I've also lost some weight as result, which is a bonus.
5. If you could introduce the whole world to one ingredient to improve their culinary experience, what would that be and why?
Ingredient? Hm. Garlic. Everything benefits from garlic, IMO. Why? Because garlic. *g*

Date: 2018-08-29 02:26 am (UTC)I may have to give the arthritis/sugar thing a try, much as I would hate to lose sugar(:
You and I would be like Jack Spratt and his wife when it came to garlic. I can eat no garlic, so you can have it all!

Date: 2018-08-29 09:39 pm (UTC)I'm telling you, it's been like a miracle. And once sugar's out of your system you can have the occasional sweet thing and it won't make you ache too much. For me it's been the difference between being able to walk and not. When it's a matter of walking vs cake, I find I can resist the cake. :)
LOL! I'll take all your garlic with no problem. You're welcome to all the celery, onions and peppers. :P

Date: 2018-08-30 02:25 pm (UTC)I do have a wok. Sadly, I still can't manage to cook vegetables as yummy as at Chinese restaurants. :(
Mmm, nectar of the gods, is garlic. *g*

Date: 2018-09-04 02:26 am (UTC)...except the garlic. It's not terrible, but doesn't merit an exclamation point for me. :) M.
