So, I have been iced in at home with no internet *cries* so I am hopelessly behind. Of course, since about half a million people in the immediate area have no electricity, my getting internet back is prolly low on the radar.
Fortunately work (a hospital yanno?) has internet access so I'm posting while I can.

I hope you all have electricity and heat (and really, that's the nicest thing I can think of to say right now. :))

Secondly, I have my fic update post to do, so I should have that up in a few.

And last, I shall be posting the last chapter of my adventdrabbles ficlets that I managed to get beta read before losing all connection the outer world. Thank goodness for web based email. ;) The problem I have now though is they are saying it may be seven to TEN days before we'll have electricity back and thus internet access. So, those of you who I owe fest fics to (the snarry_swap mods, the mod running the Hex Files Secret Santa Exchange e.g.) please know that THEY ARE DONE, I just have no way to get them to you since they are on my laptop and there's just no way to sent or receive email from it right now. If I can find somewhere with wireless internet that's working I'll try and do that, but since so many places are out of power it's hard to even do that.

For the moment, sassy_cissa will be posting the adventdrabbles prompts until I get back on line with my laptop, k? *hugs you all*

Still, it could always be worse. I'm warm right now and I did have the foresight to put in a generator last year, so I do have power at home, just no internet. *hugs back*

It's miraculous how addicting the internet is! I already notice how much I depend on it when the wireless I use has issues again. Mind you, I can easily go on holiday with no internet for two weeks, but being at home and having no internet? >.< Bah.

LOL. I'm so addicted that I take my computer when I travel and I sign up for wireless internet wherever I am (usually a hotel). So this has been painful, especially since I have things to post. *sigh*

Oh it's absolutely gorgeous here, just cold, and it gets dark really early, especially with no one (but me) having electricity.
May I just say that my neighbor, who was all "you're an idiot for doing that" last year when I put in the generator has been remarkably quiet? Heh.

I'm taking my time on the roads, the few that are clear, I promise.
