Severus slipped a box under the tree.

“What’s that?” Harry asked.

Severus raised an eyebrow. “It’s called a gift,” he said. “It’s customary to exchange them at the holidays.”

“But... you hate Christmas.”

“Indeed. I still see the advantages of exchanging gifts, however.”

“Oh,” Harry said, panicked. “I, er, need to go out, then.”

“On Christmas Eve?” Severus asked.

Harry sighed. “I didn’t get you anything.”

“You’re resourceful, you’ll think of something.”

Harry smiled slowly and Severus pretended not to notice. Later, when he went to bed and discovered an eager Harry, wearing nothing but a bow, he simply smirked.

I've missed you too:( Been far too busy in rl. Several 12 hour work days a week for the last two months, house stuff to get done, the new puppy. And last weekend was a Mini Cooper ralley we went to Philli for.

All in all, too busy. And the only time I can read is at home, so no time at all;( In a nutshell thats about it. And I have a fic that is due in two days, where is my muse?

How about you? How are things? and now I have to get dressed and go to work. *sigh* Hope you're doing well.

RL has been insane for a lot of people lately. :( We are in the process of getting power back in my state and it's a SLOW process. I do have electricity and internet, though. *yay*

As for your missing muse, who knows? I think they run off to Tahiti with Severus whenever possible. *eyeroll* Not that I can can blame them. *g*
