“Happy anniversary,” Ron said.
As Hermione watched, Harry reached into his robes, pulling out a gift. “Happy anniversary,” he replied happily.
Ron was practically bouncing. “You remembered!” he crowed.
“Of course.” Harry was beaming.
Accepting the present, Ron set it aside and kissed Harry thoroughly.
Hermione wracked her brain. Had she forgotten an important date? “Anniversary?”
Ron grinned. “Yes, today is our half anniversary.”
“Your what?”
Harry blushed. “You know how some people celebrate the first time they, um... Well, we wanted to celebrate a bit more often...”
Hermione held up a hand. “Enough. I get it. Happy...whatever.”
