“What about those?” Harry asked, pointing at a display.
Severus glanced over and sneered. “Dragonhide?” He rolled his eyes. “Only charlatans like Lockhart wear such things. Everyone knows that dragonhide boots cannot stand up to even basic basic potion spills.”
“They’re kind of sexy, though,” Harry said, eyeing the boots.
“Indeed?” Severus smirked. “You wouldn’t know sexy if it came up and bit you in the arse.”
Harry grinned. “Of course I would, Severus. In fact--” Harry’s voice softened into a purr, “--it often does bite me. And I enjoy it.”
Severus choked, but he did buy Harry the boots.
