vain was posted today and I have to say, it was incredible. Do heed the warnings, since when she says angst, she means it, but it's almost necessary angst if that makes sense. This is a portrait of Severus that rings quite true, even as I wished it didn't, and the ending practically ripped my heart out, but I think we all need to read this.
