Phoenix Pimping: 3
May. 17th, 2008 04:16 pmHello, Snarry lovers! Time to show your support for Team Phoenix. Come on, don't be shy...

And now that I have your attention, here are my latest batch of
snarry_games mini reviews.
1. Pir8fancier "Stilllife" Word Count: ~ 37,155; Summary: Snape is killed by Voldemort. But not really.
Yes, I guess it's technically a death fic, only... it's really not. What this is is an epic, spanning decades over which Harry and Snape's relationship evolves beautifully and where they both come to truly see the other. It's a masterpiece you'll regret not reading.
2. Shadowess "Effleurage" Word Count: ~6356; Summary: Lucius suggests to Severus that he should go see a Massage Therapist.
Massage therapy! Now there's a set up for a bit of hanky panky. Throw in our boys and you never know what will happen!
3. Sinick & Ac1d6urn "Red Right Hand" Word Count: ~49000; Warnings; Summary: In a world where winning the war was only half the battle, will Harry Potter's crazy heroics be enough to save an outcast?
I am always amazed at how inventive these two can be. Every time I thought I knew where things were going they flipped it around and threw in a new twist that made me wish I'd thought of it! Brilliant concept, do go and take a look.
4. Tarteaucitron "Look for me here" Word Count: ~22,497; Warnings; Summary: It is the fag-end of the Death Eater trials. Despite some initial reluctance, Auror Investigator Potter finds that his last assigned case gives him something to get his teeth into.
This was a very original story, with Snape having come up with a unique place to and way of hiding himself, and Harry, upon finding him, racing to the rescue. She uses beautifully descriptive language that it's worth taking a look at. I enjoyed it.
5. TheScarletWoman "Promises to Keep" Word Count: ~18,400; Warnings; Summary: Placed under house arrest before the trial, Severus has to rely on the kindness of strangers for his every need. When those strangers attempt to murder him before the trial, Harry takes over his care and his legal defense much to Severus' utter dismay. Harry shoehorns himself into Severus' life and Severus learns there are some things worth living for.
This was an fun read! Severus being stubborn, Harry being... well, Harry, and Rita Skeeter lurking in the background. I was kept worrying until the very end but it all worked out and the sex was sizzling.
So that's it! And here's a subtle reminder...
