“...and we’ll tour the catacombs--”
“Lupin.”
Remus looked up from the guidebook he was poring over. “Mmm?”
“What are you doing?”
“Planning a holiday.”
“Why?”
Remus smiled. “Because we deserve one together. Because I want to ply you with chianti and make love with you in Italy.”
Severus huffed. “Romantic nonsense. There’s a war, remember?”
Remus smiled. “It’s over. Harry killed Voldemort. Who’s to stop us?”
“Your child?”
“He’s not mine,” Remus said.
Severus stared. “What?”
“Tonks finally admitted it.” Remus sighed. “Anyway, we deserve a treat for surviving.”
Severus nodded. “Perhaps.”
“Maybe we’ll stay, start a new life.”
“Indeed.”
