Recognition

Draco’s breath caught in his throat as he saw the prisoners. The Snatchers had been hard at work this night.
The three people looked bedraggled. One was clearly female, her hair matted, filthy; the other two were male. He recognized the redhead immediately, which left the identity of the brunet in question.
“Is this Potter?” one of the Snatchers snarled, poking the brunet.
He had known the time would come. Draco bit his lip and pondered what to do. Snape had warned him that tough decisions would need to be made...
“No,” he finally said, looking up defiantly. “It’s not.”
