Out Of Darkness

Against all odds their love had flourished in darkness, grown in a place no light could reach.
For a moment he remembered. The dungeons had been simple, easy, a game. This... this was serious.
Now they stood in bright sunlight, hands clasped, facing everyone.
Black eyes met his in question and he nodded, conveying wordlessly that this was what he wanted. Life with the man at his side.
His gaze filtered over to his friends, who had stuck with him, supported him, even while they’d worried he’d lost his mind.
“Dearly beloved,” Snape began, and Draco sighed, all doubts forgotten.
