Scientific Observations

~

“Mmm, Draco...”

Harry made inarticulate sounds as Draco kept licking. And sucking. There was a fair amount of sucking happening.

Harry had no idea what had caused this behavior, but suddenly, mid-argument, Draco’d grabbed him, snogging him senseless.

Initially surprised, Harry resisted, but Draco was brilliant with his mouth, and Harry capitulated easily as Draco moved lower.

Moments later, Harry came down Draco’s throat, going limp when he was done.

“Draco, what...?”

Draco shrugged. “Suddenly felt like making up.”

They cuddled, and Harry smiled.

Hermione, eyebrows raised, took notes. Interestingly enough, adding one extra unicorn’s tear has an aphrodisiac effect...

Harry’s Hero

~

At first, Draco had regarded the evil Muggle machine with trepidation. “Why do we need it?” he had asked.

“It’s all the rage to have a laptop computer,” Harry had said, and that had been that.

Harry had claimed it would make their lives easier, and Draco hadn’t been so sure at first. Now, however, the thought of doing without it made him shiver nervously.

When Harry went to work that day, Draco, who had the day off, slept in, determined to spend a relaxing day at home.

Grabbing the computer and taking it into the kitchen with him, he quickly made a cup of hot chocolate and, balancing his armful, walked into the living room, where he set everything down on the table. The cup was perched haphazardly on the edge, so he moved it next to the laptop to prevent it spilling.

Let’s see what’s going on, he thought, expertly booting it up and navigating to the web sites he was interested in.

Hedwig tapped on the window, startling him and he jumped, his elbow hitting the cup full of hot liquid and it toppled onto the laptop, seeping quickly into the innards of the machine.

“Argh!” Draco yelled, picking up the machine and trying to shake the liquid out. That did not appear to work, however, and now it was making a hissing sound, followed by a bright blue spark.

“Damnit!” Draco said, dropping the machine in startled surprise.

It emitted one last hiss and then was silent.

Harry is going to kill me, Draco thought.

He tried poking around at the buttons for a while, but nothing was working. With a squint, he peered at the screen, looking for signs of life.

This is all Harry’s fault, he decided. It was his bird that had startled Draco, after all. Plus, the fact that he’d even allowed this monstrosity in his house was a monumental concession on Draco’s part. At least he’d thought it was. So what if I use it more than Harry does?

About an hour later, however, he was ready to toss the thing out the window. The computer simply would not work. It hadn’t even responded to Reparo! And why hadn’t Harry placed an Impervious Charm on the thing, anyway? This was clearly his fault.

Just in case, however, Draco decided that this was a good time to make some of that cherry pie that Harry so liked.

It was still baking when Harry got home.

“Draco?” he called, and Draco jumped.

“In here!”

“Smells good!”

Harry hugged Draco and they had a very pleasant dinner, topped off by the pie.

“I think I’ll work on the computer for a while,” Harry said after dinner, and Draco blanched. Thinking quickly, he said, “I had hoped we could have some fun tonight, Harry.”

His slow, seductive smile was enough to make Harry forget about the computer, or so he thought.

~

“So, what happened to the computer?” Harry asked later, his hand gently stroking Draco’s hair.

Draco sighed in the dark. It was time...

“Nothing, really,” he started, his finger circling Harry’s nipple as they lay wrapped around each other. “It was a small, a venial sin.”

“Oh?”

Draco nodded, knowing that Harry could feel the movement.

“I think the computer was defective,” he said. “It... er... broke today. Inexplicably.”

“I see.”

The suppressed laughter in Harry’s voice made him relax.

“Anyway, we need a new one, so it’s actually a felicitous occurrence that I made it possible to replace it.”

“I thought it was defective?” Harry asked.

“It was, and it’s fortunate that I discovered it, Harry. You might have been hurt. It’s a good thing it happened to me and not you.”

Harry hugged Draco tighter. “My hero,” he murmured.
