“We’ve discussed this before,” Hermione said, cross.
Harry sighed. “You mean you lectured and I listened.”
Ron stifled a snigger, turning pale when Hermione glared at him. He took a hasty sip of tea.
“Harry, how can you know that you love him?” Hermione tried again. “You have to admit that I was right before. You really do have a saving people thing. I’ve known you a long time.”
“That’s not what’s happening here,” Harry insisted.
“How can you know that? You saved his life.”
“Because this time,” Harry said, gazing fondly across the room at Severus, “he’s saving me.”
