Beholder Reveals
May. 30th, 2011 02:18 pmSo
hp_beholder has just posted their final master list, which means I can now thank
chibitoaster/
littleblackbow for her lovely gift fic From Half to Whole, and I can also admit to the story I wrote for
leela_cat, Reap What You Sew.
I had a lot of fun writing this tale and I'd like to thank my helpers,
torino10154 and
lilyseyes for their assistance and for letting me bounce ideas. And, of course, many, many thanks to my fabulous beta,
sevfan. *g*
I was a bit nervous about participating in this fest. It's one of the ones that always seems to have very clever writers/artists who somehow manage to tell compelling stories about characters that got a one-line mention in the books.
The quality of the submissions in this fest has generally been superb (and a tad intimidating), so I have to say a special thank you to
bethebethbeth for the warm welcome. This fest is definitely on my 'to-do' list next year. :)
Sadly, I simply couldn't keep up with all the offerings since I had two other fests in which I was participating that were running at the same time,
hp_wankfest and the Snarry a Thon. I do plan to keep reading, though, so if you get a comment from me in a few weeks, don't be surprised. *g*
Another amazing thing?
leela_cat somehow knew I had authored her fic. The moment she finished reading it, she pinged me on IM to ask if I'd written it. *shakes head*. I know it wasn't the mod *sends inquiring look towards
bethbethbeth* so now I have to figure out my 'tells'. I thought I had that handled by amending my header to say NOTHING, but evidently I shall have to work a bit harder. ;)
So, in sum: fabulous fest that I would defiintely encourage people to participate in next year since I had a great time. Thank you,
bethbethbeth for being a great mod and my fic re-post shall come soon. :)
