Cookie preservation?

alisanneOkay so this is a bit of a weird question for the crafty folks on my Flist.
When I was at Aeternitas (or however that con was spelled) I bought Snarry cookies.
Anyway, naturally I didn't eat them (although I was tempted, since anything Snarry would be delicious), because I wanted to preserve them, you know, as you do. ;)
So, does anyone have any suggestions on how to do that? Can I just spray them with some sort of preservative (shellac?) and then mount (heh) them in a frame?
Thoughts?
