Any Flisters who are participating in the current round of intoabar, is there a big delay in getting your submissions approved?
I tried to post mine yesterday evening and there's still no sign of it.
Anyone know what's happening?

So it's been so busy around here (May is a crazy time in fandom, yo) that I've been remiss.
A couple of fun fests just ended, and I need to point to them because they were both fun and awesome. <3

First intoabar/intoabar just completed their spring fest. I always love this one because there's always at least a few HP fics there, and it requires a fair bit of flexibility and imagination, which produces fun stories.

This round I got "Draco Malfoy walks into a bar and meets...Ichabod Crane (Sleepy Hollow TV)" and I liked how the story I wrote turned out. :)

Also, daily_deviant just wrapped up their TENTH BIRTHDAY, guys! I mean seriously, that's like 50 years in internet time, LOL. There were tons of activities, culminating in the big event, the Birthday Bang Fest. You can see that Masterlist here.

This means I can now claim my fic, which was a fun to write Draco/Hermione romp called Romance and Rituals.
Thanks to everyone who commented, I'll be getting to those soon (today!) promise. :)

In addition I got the YUMMIEST Snarry gift, ya'll. If you haven't already, drop everything and go right now and read Loved You a Long Time by the incomparable writcraft. In fact, as soon as I'm caught up, I'll prolly go read it again. *happy sigh*

Plus, as if all the fun, celebratory stuff over there wasn't enough, the mods made us banners, and mine is PERFECT for me. It's as if they know me or something. ;)



And, lastly, let me point to you my new shiny icon, also a gift from the DD mods. *admires*

I just got my intoabar/intoabar assignment, and it's who I was dreading.

Don't get me wrong, I love the character, and my muse is already coming up with plausible scenarios, but Ichabod's turn of phrase is...particular. I'm worried what I write won't sound like him.

I am going to have to study him for a while, I think. *sigh*
Still, it could be worse I suppose. :P
