- How does this optical illusion work? *tilts head* I have no idea, and I've watched it several times now. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? :)
- I am not necessarily a James Cordon fan (unless he's acting on Dr Who) but I love carpool karaoke. This one with J Lo made me chuckle. Poor Leo Dicaprio. *g*
- Thirteen reasons to never go swimming again. 2 and 13? Yikes!
- Twenty five signs it may be too hot outside.
- Not sure what to call this sport. Lawn surfing? Mower slip and slide? Whatever you call it, it looks like a hoot. *g*
- Remember the Mac and Cheetos I mentioned a few weeks ago? Well, here's a vid of people actually trying them.
- This was fun. Take this test to estimate the size of your English vocabulary. I got 29800, putting me in the top 0.16%, apparently making me Shakespeare. ;)
- American couples try European wedding traditions. As you can imagine, it doesn't all go well. *g*
- Cool app is cool! Although it's a bit of a time suck. And, if you'd like another, this one's fun as well.
- And, for our adorable fix this week, look at this baby beaver! Say it with me...Awwwww!
- Motion capture technology makes for some fun vids.
- And finally, I love how these moms totally pwned their kids. *g*
Happy Sunday! <3

Date: 2016-07-17 04:27 pm (UTC)*cocks head in confusion* What's wrong with basking sharks? They (and whale sharks, number 8) are the nearest sharks come to a pacifist vegetarian; they're peaceful creatures that just swim along with their mouths open because they're filtering out all the little fish and plankton to eat, just like the larger whales do.
I'd be more afraid of the alligator or anaconda; they'd be happy to turn you into lunch, and are well able to do it.
Seaweed, though, is more of a common sense thing; if you can't see what you swimming in then don't get in. The people who get entangled in seaweed (or other water vegetation) are breaking one of the cardinal rules of safety in the water; check that it is safe to get in!

Also just tried the vocabulary test. 29975, top 0.12%! *boogies around room* This appears to be a very intelligent flist.
Baby beaver? Adorable. The tail...!
I feel some sympathy for the drivers in oven gloves. I once ended up scalded by the emblem on my steering wheel (I started draping a teatowel over it after that).
