Ooh, I really like those statements about faith from scientists. Yes! We need more of that. How are you liking the new Star Trek? I just saw the first two pilot episodes (I think they were meant to go back-to-back?) and I'm cautiously interested.

I know! Those scientists statements made me smile. :)

I...the new ST is different. I'm having trouble with it, not because it's not good, but because it's doesn't feel like Star Trek. If they'd called it its own thing, I would be fine, but everything we know about ST seems to be contradicted by this show. *shrugs*
