alisanneI'm sticking with last year's format since it worked quite well. Thanks again to gracerene for allowing me to steal it. :)

I certainly can't complain about that. Although I may need to adjust this year's goal since I beat last year's word count fairly handily. :)

My favorite stories this year:
Hiring Defence Against the Dark Arts Teachers and Other Unforgivable Acts. Writing about Severus and Minerva preparing for the onslaught of Weasleys cracked me up. :)
Appreciating Life’s Appetites. Writing Severus relaxing and enjoying life made me smile. *g*
Deflowering Potter. OMG, I adore writing Slytherins being Slytherins. Plus, Slytherin!Harry is my jam. ;)
An Introduction to Rimming. Heh. Writing Harry taking Draco apart never gets old. *g*
Halloween House Call. Three words. Cranky Crup!Draco. *giggles*
In Search of a Good Book. Poor Minerva. I really gave her some crappy books to read in this one. Heheh.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
None, really. People have been kind this year. Thank you! ♥
Hardest story to write:
Heart and Soul. This was a horror story I had to really think about. I contemplated going gory, but opted for more creepy instead. *g* I think it was the right decision.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2017?
Again, just like last year, I have no answer for this one. Give me enough time and I eventually write everything. :P
Story that could have been better?
There's no specific story that stands out for this category. I do tend to fuss with things endlessly, so it's best if I don't overthink. :)
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
Most definitely.
I wrote a fic for Horror fest (!!) and I wrote more femmeslash than usual. :)
What's next for 2018:
Write more!
And to that end, I've signed up forgetyourwordsout and I hope to participate more regularly in ushobwri. *hugs Shoobies*
My goal for the year was to be 300+K, but that was before I did my numbers for the year.
I have since inquired of the mods, and I discovered I can change my goal, so I have upped it to the 500K level, appropriately called the Ludicrous level
Am I insane? Possibly.
We'll see how it goes!
