Meta Question
Nov. 17th, 2013 05:19 pmSo a lot of my Flisters have been asking some fabulous questions in meta posts lately *stares at
who_la_hoop* and I've been having a great time reading all the responses (and responding myself).
But it occurs to me that not everyone posts meta for the same reasons.
I love to see discussion, but others may want to get a fresh viewpoint on a topic about which they have already developed opinions (or perhaps they want their opinions validated *g*), and still others may use meta as a way to reenergize a recalcitrant muse. :)
Hence my question. What do you hope to accomplish when you post a meta post? And when does meta become, well, wank? How comfortable are you with meta discussion that gets...heated? :)
Tell me all your feels!
